Jessie Ware & Romy - Lift You Up

Talk about a clash of the titans. Jessie Ware is arguably the best popstar making music today, and Romy has delivered some absolute bangers of late. The two of them together should be dynamite, especially produced by the legendary Stuart Price. So it's confusing the hell out of me that 'Lift You Up' leaves me so cold. It all feels musically and lyrically cliched, which is my problem here. But is this a solid enough pop number with a positive message that makes me smile? Absolutely. But I'll most likely have forgotten about it by the end of next week.
