With all the work he's doing for others, it's a miracle that Jamie XX finds time to release any music, but here we are with his new single 'It's So Good', which is just OK. He has owned his sound since The XX first appeared. Creating some fantastic art along the way. Sometimes, however, he rams so much into his tunes that it feels like he's throwing things against a wall to see what sticks, which is the case here. It's still a decent track that soars when the piano lands, but it's not quite hitting the spot for me.
