The original album version of 'Real Thoughts In Real Time' is one of the best tracks from the recent Hifi Sean & David McAlmont project. It's five heavenly minutes of soaring vocals, soft electronica, and Bollywood strings. If it wasn't already perfect enough, it's been put into the eternally capable hands of Vince Clarke, and the results are predictably stellar. The orchestration has gone, replaced with his trademark synths, tougher beats and even a few elements that sound as if they were lifted directly from a classic Erasure track. This is one of your new favourite bops of the summer.
