Most pop songs are about love in one way or another, and the vast majority are fucking terrible. Of course, there are a few absolute crackers out there, but I am struggling to think of any the good ones that are as effortlessly cool and stylish as 'Maybe'. David's voice is exquisite (you hang off every word he sings), but Sean Dickson's production is the MVP this time. He's created a delicate, magical soundscape for the vocals to drift gently above. It's perfect. We are only three singles in, and they have already released some of the year's best music.
