HAIM - Lost Track

Everybody knows that you can never have too many handclaps in a pop song. It's science. So it makes perfect sense that one with only handclaps as percussion will be glorious. Of course, that can always be scuppered by the lack of a decent tune or crappy songwriting. But, thankfully, the rest of 'Lost Track' is more than a match with its simple music box melody and bassline alongside HAIM's eternally flawless vocals. It feels like a folksy nursery rhyme or the musical equivalent of having one hundred Care Bears jump onto you simultaneously, and who wouldn't want that?
