The whole premise of sampling other music is to take something long forgotten and give it renewed life. To shape it in such a way that it's still familiar but at the same time unique to the new track. When done well, its the most natural-sounding thing in the world. Unfortunately, in the case of this Groove Armada single, what they've done is take the hook from one of the best songs of the 80s ('Faces'), chucked it into a padded bucket with a faulty microphone, and produced something that sounds like Phil Collin's 'Easy Lover' in a massive k-hole.
