Being neurodivergent and loving music is hard work. It involves a lot of mental 'stacking' to ensure I'm putting things somewhere I can find them in my brain. However, I fucking love it when someone you've put into a certain box delivers something that blows my systems out of the water. I've always known Gretel for Goth-tinged guitar numbers, but 'Far Out', produced by Mura Masa, sees her retaining her sound while dipping her toe into the world of handclaps, bleeps, and breakbeats, and it's marvellous! As a good friend pointed out, this sounds like 'Wednesday Addams ate Girls Aloud'.
