Gorillaz ft. Tame Impala & Bootie Brown - New Gold

There's been a definite uptick in the Gorillaz output over the last few months, both in quantity and quality. Their recent single 'Cracker Island' with Thundercat was great, but this collaboration with Tame Impala and Bootie Brown (a founder of The Pharcyde) is a total bullseye. You'll be completely sucked in within the first thirty seconds. It has an addictive, joyous, rolling vibe that'll make you feel like you've necked a couple of sleeping pills when you listen to it. Everyone here is at the top of their game, complementing each other perfectly, and the result is fucking glorious. Essential.
