You might know Irish musician Gemma Hayes from her faultlessly pitched acoustic cover of 'Wicked Game' from about ten years ago that was used in 'Pretty Little Liars'. But if that's the only time you've heard her, you're seriously missing out. 'High & Low' is her first single since 2015, and it's a personal take on grief and the longing we feel when we lose people close to us. Hayes has always been able to tell the perfect story with her songwriting and delivery, and this is no exception. It's quiet and measured; you'll hang off every word she sings.
