It doesn't get super hot in the UK that often, but today it will hit the mid-30s. I hate the heat, so I will just hide in the dark, writing words about great new songs like this. But if you're one of those weirdos that loves nothing more than lying in the sun for hours, you could do a lot worse than making 'I'm in a Funk' part of your soundtrack for the day. It's a perfect slice of effortless, laidback House Music that somehow still remains uplifting despite the lyrics being about depression and loneliness during the recent lockdowns.
