Bear with me here because I want to discuss The Smiths for a moment. My favourite thing about them was never 'He Who Must Not Be Named' stood at the front. It was always Johnny Marr tucked away in the background, creating some of the most incredible guitar sounds ever committed to vinyl. I can hear similar greatness on 'Jackie Down The Line'. As well as being musically flawless, it also benefits from an extraordinary vocal from one of the best frontmen of recent times, Grian Chatten. Every single second of this is perfect. They can do no wrong.
