Fontaines D.C. - I Love You

Fontaines D.C. can do no wrong. The bass at the beginning of 'I Love You' reminds me of one of those fantasy sequences you get in films where they lie on a bed and slowly start to sink through it. Alongside another incredible vocal performance from Grian Chatten, musically, this isn't a million miles away from a lot of the early 90s stuff by the likes of Lush, Slowdive, and even The Cure. It's got the same hypnotic and heady combination of swirling, intense guitars and drums that I used to find myself 'dancing' to back in my teens. Amazing.
