Isn't Lauren Laverne great? I'll find myself tuning into 6Music in the morning over coffee, and she'll play something amazing that I've never heard before. That happened today, and I've been listening to Flamingods' massive new single 'Dreams (On The Strip)' ever since. It's a powerhouse of a song, combining warped psychedelia, multi-layered vocals, heavy analogue synths and drums, all cocooned in an overwhelming sense of euphoria. Give this a go if you're a fan of Temples, Flaming Lips or even if you just love spinning around in circles with your arms out in your bedroom to good music.
