There's a brilliant documentary on YouTube that everyone who has ever gone out dancing should watch. It's called 'I Was There When House Took Over The World', and I'll post a link for it below. It's centred on Chicago and highlights the critical role that gay underground clubs played in creating and nurturing the sound. This Felix Da Housecat bomb has been re-released for 2021 and uses the same Isaac Hayes hook that was sampled perfectly by Farley 'Jackmaster' Funk for 'Love Can't Turn Around' back then and is a fitting tribute to a city that taught us to dance.
