Everything But The Girl - Caution To The Wind

Change is always good, especially when it comes to pop music. It's hard to stay excited by a band that only releases variations of the same song. Everything But The Girl will never have that problem. They constantly push their sound forward, even between singles. Moving away from the broken beats of the stunning 'Nothing Left To Lose, 'Caution To The Wind' is a more straightforward, laidback club track. But the production and Tracey Thorn's vocals are so in sync that it feels elevated. It's ripe for some quality remixes, too. Maybe it's time to give Deep Dish a call?
