A bit of a cheat as it's been around for ages, but Disclosure seems to be chucking it out as a bonus on everything, so it's fair game to review. Anyway, I digress. When I was young, my parents used to take me to see shows by a Ghanaian dance group called Ekome. Mindblowing drummers and dancers. I fully credit it with igniting my love of repetitive beats. 'ENERGY' has layers of powerful African percussion, aggressive synth stabs, and a solid kick drum behind it all. It's a seriously energetic track, and probably the best thing they have ever released.
