In July 2024, De La Soul opened a Donut shop. It's not a move you'd traditionally expect from arguably the greatest Hip-Hop act of all time. But it all makes sense when you discover that it was brought into being to honour the passing of band member Trugoy The Dove in 2023. To be honest, I'm cheating a bit with these words because the brilliant 'Oodles Of O's' is actually taken from their 1991 sophomore album. However, there's a brand new video, with a host of guests, that's been released to mark the opening of the store. RIP Plug Two.
