Craig David & MNEK - Who You Are

I first heard this on the bastion of Sunday night telly that is the Strictly results show. My initial impressions were overwhelmingly positive. There was a considerable amount of soul in the live vocals, a catchy little hook coupled with flashback inducing beats holding everything together. Fast forward to me spending some time with the studio version, and it's not hitting me in the same way. Don't get me wrong, it's a powerful song with a meaningful message. It's just all comes across as a bit overpolished for my liking. I prefer a bit of stink on my UK Garage.
