Courteeners - Solitude Of The Night Bus

I've got a sneaking suspicion that Courteeners woke up one morning and realised how sad they were that Stars In Their Eyes was off our screens before collectively looking up from their cornflakes and loudly proclaiming, "Tonight, Matthew, We're Going To Be Pulp". Everything here, from the title to the lyrics and their delivery, feels like a nod to Jarvis Cocker. I've always thought they were a mixture of Sheffield's finest and Elbow, but this is on another level entirely. You shouldn't let my nonsense put you off because this is a fine pop song and 100% worth your time.
