Cindy Wilson - Midnight

Now that the B-52s have officially bid their final farewell with one last tour, I am more than a little bit thrilled to see that new material from founder member Cindy Wilson has appeared. It's been six years since her first solo release, 'Change' (totally amazing, check it out), and these three songs feel like a natural evolution of her sound. 'Delirious' and 'Wait' are fantastic, flawlessly fusing styles. But 'Midnight' is next level. It's a massive pop number that sounds like a combination of Boss Drum-era Shamen and Siouxsie on a good day, and who isn't up for that?
