Charlotte Adigiéry & Bolis Pupul - Ceci N'est Pas Un Cliché

This pairing is relentless. It's a seemingly neverending stream of perfection, with every new release getting more intoxicating than the last. The title translates as 'This is Not a Cliche'. But it's time to roll out the irony alarm because the track is made up of the many overused lyrics from pop music history. Delivered in impeccable style thanks to Adigiéry's incredible vocals (and wigs, obviously) and, musically, you will struggle to find better production out there. Whenever the chorus drops, the whole thing kicks up a notch. It's electronic witchcraft. My favourite song of the year so far (today).
