The next rework from the upcoming 40th anniversary edition of Bronski Beat's seminal 'Age Of Consent' album has arrived, and this time it's over to Planningtorock. As someone Trans Non-Binary, who was 12 years old when this was released, they clearly have a deep connection with the source material, which shows. Where the ABSOLUTE remix had a distinct 80s vibe and reverence for the original track, this one brings it right into now. Modifying that iconic riff slightly and adding a relentless beat. If I was in a club now and this came on, I would go fucking wild. Fabulous.
