It's only been a week since Björk's dazzling re-entry into the world of music, but we've already been graced with the second track from her new album. 'Ovule' feels much more like familiar territory for the singer. Her vocals are front and centre from the beginning of what is a love song at its heart. But the further you get, the more it takes you back to the disjointed feel of her last single, 'Atopos'. Full of abrasive percussion and off-key loops (from trombones this time, instead of clarinets), delivering an intense and awkward soundscape. The result is completely magical.
