Biig Piig - One Way Ticket

I can't even begin to tell you how much I wanted this to be a cover of Eruption's 1979 Disco banger. Wouldn't that have been amazing? Hearing her laconic twist on it would have been next level. It's not, obviously. But that doesn't stop this from being a fantastic single. There's something about her voice that forever makes me sink deep into my chair, which is always a lovely feeling. The stripped-back sound that she's showcasing on 'One Way Ticket' seems to be more potent than ever. Which begs the question, why isn't she a fucking superstar already? Top stuff.
