You've got to wonder if Belle & Sebastian have recently started drinking coffee or discovered Poppers for the first time because each of their recent singles has had considerably more bounce than the last. We've reached a point where 'I Don't Know...' could pass as a Steps single or even a Eurovision entry. What makes that even more 'Pop' is that they've decided not to bother with English for half of the chorus, just nonsense words, which is a definite choice. Tell you what, though, if Motiv8 got their hands on this, the remix would blow our collective nuts off.
