Bananarama - Venus (Boys Noize Rework)

Do you remember Motiv-8? They were everywhere in the mid-90s, schlepping out perfectly formed high-energy Pop remixes for Saint Etienne, Pulp, and even the Spice Girls. Intentionally or not, Boys Noize have just reworked Bananarama's 'Venus', and the only way I can think to describe it is like one of their tracks but with a firework stuffed up its arse. I should love it, but something about it feels a bit soulless to me. Saying that, though, if this was 1997 and I was in Club X in Cardiff loaded up on Mitsubishis, I would have undoubtedly fucking loved it.
