Bad With Phones 'Don't Talk To Me' is another incredible tune from earlier in 2024 that got away from me, but as their debut album is just around the corner, now seems like the perfect time for me to throw some words at it. There's a bit of everything going on here. Post-punk, check. Electro bass and guitar riffs, it's got 'em. Twisted rap vocals, 100%. It's a proper clash of styles, and all the better for it. Add to that almost pandemic levels of infectiousness (too soon?), makes this one of the most thrilling tracks I've heard this year.
