Alison Goldfrapp & Paul Woolford - Fever
The only way I can think of to put my feelings into words about 'Fever' is to use the 'It's a Game of Two Halves' football analogy. The first half of the track is your standard slice of piano-driven commercial fodder, similar to loads of other tunes I've heard recently. But halfway through, it transforms into a beast of an Electro tune. The piano melts away, and you're left with her vocals layered on top of throbbing, insistent electronica, taking things in a more underground direction. It's a massive improvement on the Claptone collaboration. Here's to more of the same! Track Link: https://youtu.be/VasgG0HvjFc
