After her solo debut last year, Alison Goldfrapp is back with the first release on her own label and shows zero signs of slowing down from 'The Love Invention' and the stellar remix album that came with it. Produced by the ever-reliable Richard X, 'I Wanna Be Loved...' is a refreshing slice of Electro Pop which shimmers like a motherfucker from what I think is a 'Pong' sample at the start, via the great vocal and multiple moreish hooks, to the final beat. Play this as loud as possible with your windows wide open while the sun still shines. Lovely.
