Alfie Sharp has one of those voices that stops you dead in your tracks every time you hear it. After a couple of cracking singles at the end of last year, he's back with 'Home', his strongest to date. I'm always here for a simple track that showcases the artist, and with nothing more than his phenomenal voice and a stripped-back piano line, this packs a serious punch. I've been wracking my brains, and I can't think of any other recent songs that have hit me as hard as this does. Raw, emotional and pretty much perfect. Absolutely essential.
