Sometimes, to my shame, I dismiss a song without giving it a fair chance. After the first few bars of 'Boo' by Agnete, I had already made up my mind that it was your standard Europop number and that I wasn't going to give it any more than a couple of listens. But then the chorus happened, and I almost spat my tea out across the room. It's only six words long, but it's a total monster. Think Britney or Pussycat Dolls at their best. It's also definitive proof that you should never underestimate the power of the perfect hook.
