Abimaro - Parasols

A thing of breathtaking beauty. My favourite single of the year (so far). Broken beats and a simple synth open things up nicely and then the sweetest most gentle vocal drifts in over the top. Then, without warning, the vocal hook that carries the whole track hits you like a ton of bricks. Not bricks. Feathers. All within the first thirty seconds. Then additional layered vocals, organic percussion, and constant waves of euphoria combine to create an almost dreamlike state that carries you to end of the track. The entire thing is so uplifting it brought tears to my eyes.
