Vengaboys - 1999 (I Wanna Go Back)

I have no idea what I was doing in 1999. But I am sure that it didn't involve the Vengaboys in any way. Don't get me wrong. When it's done right, a bit of cheesy pop or Eurodance can be good for the soul. Unfortunately, this overproduced and potentially insane Charlie XCX and Troye Sivan cover picks up exactly where they left off twenty years ago. It even comes complete with their signature beeping noise that still sets my teeth on edge now. You don't remember it? It sounds like Hello Kitty having a shit through a sieve. Good grief.
