Tom Misch (AKA Supershy) has pulled off something rather clever. He's invented time travel. Within five seconds of 'Happy Music' starting, I was whisked straight onto a podium at one of the many clubs I frequented in the early 2000s. It's an uncanny recreation of the sound from back then, and whether it's intentional or not, it totally works. You could easily drop this into a Classic House set anywhere, and nobody except the most avid vinyl junkie would question it. It's also triggering memories of thousands of other killer tracks from my youth, and for that, I am thankful.
