Released on Soulwax's flawless DEEWEE imprint, this new single from Marie Davidson was inspired by a condescending email from someone on the business side of the music industry. After receiving it, she needed to pour the anger and disdain she was feeling into her art and 'Y.A.A.M' (AKA 'Your Asses Are Mine') was the result. It's magnificent, obviously. Packed with passion and a giant FUCK YOU (literally and figuratively) to the sender alongside aggressive, direct Techno beats and urgent synth lines. There's a Soulwax rework on the way, too, which I am sure will be amazing (because they always are).
