Do you remember the first time you heard and were blown away by 'Blue Savannah'? There's an awful lot of Vince Clarke in this and that's no bad thing. Joe Goddard is a bit hit and miss for me. His stuff sometimes seems a little lacklustre. Almost phoned in. But there's something here that tips me over the edge in the right direction. It's no 'Gabriel', but it has a fair amount of swag and is sufficiently uplifting to add some quality sunshine into your life. Oh, and the vocal is fantastic as you'd expect from the Wild Beasts frontman.
